Who we are?

Many companies have long and complicated origin stories of how they came to be and why they do what they do. Here, our entire mission can be traced back to a single Bible.

Some time ago, the founder and owner of Logos Trading Post, Enis , gave a Bible to his friend Efe. Enis was, and continues to be, a firm believer in the scripture Isaiah 55:11:

“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

Enis had enough faith in this verse that he put it into action, believing that the Word of God would accomplish and fulfill whatever purpose the Lord had ordained for Efe. Time went by, and the Bible went unused. Efe soon fell on hard times, and his mental health spiraled to the point of despair; he decided to take his own life. He prepared to do just that, and among what were to be his final moments, he spotted nearby the Bible that Enis had given him. In one final grasp at finding hope, Efe opened the Bible to be met with Isaiah 43:2, hand-inscribed by Enis on the inside cover:

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.”

This scripture was enough to give Efe the small hope that he so desperately sought. He resolved to live that day. He soon after initiated contact with a local pastor, and is living a fulfilled and happy life to this day – the Word of God did not return void.

This story has served as the foundation for our mission and mindset. We at Logos Trading Post believe in the power of scripture and the necessity of having it present and visible at all times. This is exactly what our products are designed to do: take advantage of every opportunity to remind ourselves of our faith and where our strength comes from. Each and every product is designed to bring you closer to God. From our jewelry with its subtle, iconographic symbolism, to our pass along cards with their powerful verses, our prayer is that they will not only help you with your personal battles, but that they will open doors for you to spread this very same Good News to others; always remember, God’s word will not return void.

We believe by producing Biblically sound every day items we can help bring the hope of the Gospel in to many lives.

What we do?

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations

Part of our calling is to reach Asia Minor, the second most mentioned place of the New Testament (including places like Antioch), with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Most of Logos Trading Post products are intentionally made in Asia Minor, and we are so excited that the makers are reading the Word of God over and over and over again. You can know that you order has been seen by eyes that need Jesus, and we ask you to pray with us for the people making them, that they would come to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.

Because of our passion to reach Asia Minor , part of the profit from every sale goes straight to further efforts in spreading the Gospel there. We have built relationships with local Pastors and Ministers, and work with them in effectively investing in His Kingdom work.

Thank you for reading our story, and discovering our passion. We hope that you find the Logos Trading Post products a great encouragement in your daily walk, and even as a tool for sharing the Gospel with friends, family, and coworkers.

May the God of grace and peace be with you always.
