Isaiah 25:1 says, “O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure.” Surely for all that He has faithfully done in the world and even in our own lives, He is glorious and worthy of the greatest praise that we can give. He considers God not only as One worthy of praise, but the One who enables him to praise as well. In God, we praise, compelled by His Spirit. In general, the Spirit compels us and gives us the might to live out the life God wants us to live, and compelling us to praise is no exception to this rule.
