The Worth of the Word

We must never forget the significance of scripture in our lives and daily pursuits. Paul tells Timothy in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.” Scripture strengthens believers in mind and spirit, enabling them the confidence and might to step out and live the righteous, love-filled life they were meant to live. All that said, it ought to be no surprise that the Word of God - that is, the Bible - is important to us just as the Word of God, Jesus Christ, is of the utmost importance. We emphasize, 2 Timothy 3:16 says that all Scripture is from God’s breath and worthwhile in every manner of discipline and learning.
