LOGOS TRADING POST - PEACE PASS ALONG SCRIPTURE CARDS

Our God: The Lord of Peace Himself

Paul writes in 2 Thessalonians 3:16, “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.” God is indeed the Lord of peace, and He loves to enrich our lives with the lasting peace that only He can provide. It is our joy, then, to provide scripture cards that can remind believers of the One True God, the giver of true and everlasting peace.

Thus, we have collected some Bible verse cards on this page that bear scriptures that serve to assure us of the peace we can have through Him. Let us take a moment to discuss each of the passages of scripture featured.

May Your Heart Be At Peace - Let Matthew 11:28-29 Encourage You!

Our first pass along scripture card on this page has Matthew 11:28-29 written on it, which says, “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Who better to give us peace than Jesus Himself, the One who has been called Prince of Peace? Indeed, His words here in Matthew’s gospel acknowledge the relationship between peace and the burdens we bear. Hardships and disappointments are a reality of living the Christian life, but we can have peace in the midst of these things knowing that we do not bear the weight alone. Indeed, Jesus helps us carry the things that bring us worry - just as He carried His cross for us -and leaving them in His hands frees our souls to be at peace. This is the heart behind our Matthew 11:28-29 Pass Along Scripture Cards.

May Your Heart Be At Peace -  Let Psalm 46:10 Encourage You!

Another one of our pass along scripture cards has Psalm 46:10a written on it, which says, “Be still and know that I am God.” This verse is quite reverent. God’s presence is a powerful thing; believing in Him is mighty in its effect. Our souls can be still and rest in peace knowing that we get to stand with the Almighty God, worthy of all praise and exaltation. When we acknowledge that and rest in it, we can be at peace, realizing that nothing we face could ever hope to stand against Him. This is the heart behind our Psalm 46:10 Pass Along Scripture Cards.

May Your Heart Be At Peace - Let John 14:27 Encourage You!

Another one of our pass along scripture cards has John 14:27 written on it, which says, “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” Jesus directly promises here that He is leaving peace with us. However, we can be further assured by this verse knowing that He bestows peace unlike what the world can bestow, so if the world has ever disappointed you in its attempts to ease your worry, we are dealing with a peace far more transcendent than the peace we find in the wisdom of the world. God’s peace is the greatest peace of all, so let’s be faithful to Him and let our hope be upon Him. This is the heart behind our John 14:27 Pass Along Scripture Cards.

May Your Heart Be At Peace - Let Psalm 29:11 Encourage You!

Another one of our pass along scripture cards has Psalm 29:11 written on it, which says, “The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace.” This verse takes into account peace in a communal sense. God has not only promised the individual believer peace, but He has promised the whole Church and all the children of God around the world His blessing of strength in hardships and of peace in all situations. This is the heart behind our Psalm 29:11 Pass Along Scripture Cards.

May Your Heart Be At Peace - Let Isaiah 26:3 Encourage You!

The final one of our pass along scripture cards on this page has Isaiah 26:3 written on it, which says, “You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.” Let us not forget that God’s rewards are great for the faithful. God loves to set us at ease and act in grace, it’s true! However, here He reminds us that His peace and His blessings are for those who set their full focus upon you in faith. Through continually living in faith, trust can be developed, and through this trust, peace can be perfected within, down to the very depths of the soul. This is the heart behind our Isaiah 26:3 Pass Along Scripture Cards!
